I fell in love with her broken, fragile character. She played Maria Elena, tortured but talented artist, and unrequited lover. Her pain was beautiful and she wore it on her sleeves for the world to see, like a badge of honor. I think I'm developing a fascination for Penelope Cruz. Don't proceed if you haven't seen the movie.
